NOW ACCEPTING CLIENTS

My Origins:
Before becoming a therapist, I spent years working in fast-paced, people-centered environments—experiences that shaped my approachable, adaptable, and down-to-earth style. Those experiences taught me that life is rarely neat or linear, and that people often carry far more than what others can see on the surface. They also helped me understand the importance of having a space where you don't need to have everything figured out before asking for support.
I earned my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University and currently practice as an LPC-Associate under supervision in Texas. At my core, I am fascinated by people—their stories, emotional worlds, relationships, thought processes, and the ways they make sense of themselves and the world around them. My natural curiosity, empathy, and ability to notice patterns help clients gain insight, connect the dots in their experiences, and better understand themselves with clarity and self-compassion.
Specialty:
I enjoy working with teens and adults navigating anxiety, self-esteem challenges, perfectionism, grief, relationship concerns, life transitions, emotional overwhelm, and the complexities of everyday life. Many of my clients are thoughtful, deeply feeling individuals who are used to being the "strong one" for everyone else. They may appear to have it all together on the outside while quietly struggling with overthinking, burnout, self-doubt, or feeling disconnected from themselves.
I have a special appreciation for working with what I often call the "self-aware spiraler" - the person who understands why they feel the way they do but still finds themselves stuck in the same patterns. My goal is to help clients move beyond simply surviving and toward living with greater confidence, balance, and authenticity. I am proud to offer both telehealth and in person services to clients throughout Texas.
Therapeutic Approach:
My therapeutic style is warm, collaborative, curious, and deeply human. I believe therapy works best when people feel safe enough to show up exactly as they are—messy thoughts, dark humor, vulnerability, uncertainty, and everything in between. Healing often begins when people feel genuinely seen, understood, and accepted without needing to edit or filter themselves.
Rather than acting as a blank slate, I strive to create a space that feels conversational, grounded, and real. Therapy with me may include moments of laughter, reflection, problem-solving, emotional processing, and honest conversations about the challenges you're facing. I am not here to "fix" you or tell you who to be. Instead, I aim to help you untangle what is weighing you down, recognize your strengths, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that may have been overlooked for far too long.
Personal Note:
When I'm not in session, I'm usually reading, spending time with my dogs, exploring new places, planning something unnecessarily detailed, or rewatching a comfort show I've already seen a hundred times. I proudly identify as a recovering perfectionist and fully believe healing and humor can coexist. I'm also the type of person who can spend hours discussing books, fictional characters, personality dynamics, or the tiny details most people overlook.
Above all, I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can finally exhale—a place where you don't have to perform, be perfect, or carry everything alone.
