NOW ACCEPTING CLIENTS

She/Her/Hers

My Origins:

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology degree from The University of Texas at Dallas and am currently a Clinical Mental Health Counseling graduate student completing my clinical internship. I am passionate about supporting individuals as they navigate through life’s challenges and work toward greater self understanding and emotional well being.

Growing up in a multicultural household shaped my perspective and deepened my appreciation for the many experiences and identities people bring into the counseling space. I speak and understand Farsi/Dari and English fluently, and I value working with individuals from a wide range of backgrounds and life experiences.

My goal is to create a supportive and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel comfortable exploring their thoughts, emotions, and personal growth journey.

Specialty:

I am particularly interested in supporting individuals navigating anxiety, life transitions, self-esteem challenges, and relationship concerns. I enjoy helping clients better understand their emotional patterns and learn practical tools that support balance, clarity, and resilience in their everyday lives.

I am especially drawn to working with individuals who are seeking greater self awareness and want to build healthier relationships with themselves and others. My goal is to support clients as they gain insight, strengthen coping skills, and move toward meaningful and lasting change.

Therapeutic approach:

My therapeutic approach is primarily person centered, a model that emphasizes empathy, authenticity, and collaboration within the counseling relationship. I believe that a strong therapeutic connection creates the foundation for meaningful growth.

In sessions, I focus on listening deeply, asking thoughtful questions, and helping clients explore their experiences in a way that promotes insight and emotional understanding. I often integrate reflective conversation, emotional processing, and skill building strategies to help clients navigate challenges and make changes that align with their values and goals.

Personal Note:

Outside of my work and studies, I enjoy making homemade traditional Persian dishes. Cooking has always been a meaningful way for me to stay connected to family and culture.

I also enjoy traveling and experiencing new cultures, as well as reading and occasionally working out. In my free time, I love spending time with my cat, Theo, who brings me so much joy to my daily routine.
